To address the needs of those dancers who would like performance and competition opportunities, we have formed Studio 305 Elite Team. We have found that dancers who want to perform want to do more than a recital. For the studio to effectively provide tons of performance opportunities, we must have a dedicated group of dancers that undertands team work makes the dream work. Dancers are separated by age,skill level, on-stage appearance, and choreography requirements. We create over 30 Routines for the Teams to perform throughtout the year. We have several student choreography showcases for our team members to express their creative side. By making a commitment to the Studio 305 Elite team and to your fellow team members for 10 months. Team members have been asked to perform for celebrity artist well as call back for WalMart Commericial,Disney The Lion King,The Food Network and Cirque Du Soleil Beatles Love. We have found a reason for kids to enjoy dance as a performing art and understand the level of commitment and dedication necessary to be their best! We start practicing and development of our performance at the beginning of each year. The Season development starts in August-May.

Membership on Studio 305 Elite Competition Team is by audition or invite only. Membership on a team one year does not guarantee membership on a team the following year. Dancers must be properly dressed at their auditions. Team members may compete in team groups as well as in solos, duos, and trios. Competitions are normally set by early January. We will post the schedule of competitions once confirmed with Artistic Director. Studio 305 competition teams usually try to attend four to five (4-5) regional competitions. Competition dates are discussed and finalized in the Fall. We normally attend competitions between January and May and try to keep all competitions within a 3-hour driving distance. Competitions usually start on a Friday night and end on Sunday night.

All Studio 305 Elite Team members must sign an Agreement Contract signifying their commitment to the Team and Studio 305 for 10 months out of the year. All team members are dependent upon each other to carry their weight with respect to practice and performance. The purpose of this contract is to ensure up front that each participant understands what is expected of the team and the teachers. Competing on the team is a privilege, not a right.

Dancers competing in Ballet, Lyrical, Modern, and Jazz are required to take at Studio 305 two to three ballet classes per week in addition to the practices for the competition. Students are responsible for purchasing their own costumes and accessories. The costumes are selected by the teachers early in the year to allow time for them to be received in time for the first competition. Costume accessories, make-up, and shoe requirements are decided further into the season. Must keep great school grades!
